Building anything is hard freaking work. It takes a ridiculous amount of courage, faith, patience, persistence, resilience, creativity, and thick skin, among other things. But I promise you, being able to make your own schedule around what actually matters - your family and your health - is, or should be, of the utmost importance. So, if you are in the process of building something, keep going. Even when it gets tough, keep going. Even when you don't feel like things are progressing, keep going. Remember, feelins aren't facts, and most people give up on the 1 yard line, right when they're about to experience the breakthrough they've been praying and hoping for.
As the great Les Brown so eloquently said, "It's supposed to be hard." This is true. Eric Thomas said, "The bigger the goal, the bigger the challenge." If it's hard, that's how you know you got something great. Stick to it. Thug it out. Remember why you started. Even if you gotta go slow, remember it's better to go slow than to not go at all. And even if you gotta take a step or 2 backwards, remember that it's better to be going back a few steps than it is to quit altogether.
Stay focused. Stay hungry. And as the saying goes, "stay down until you come up." Greatness is in your DNA! Let's get it!
