I recorded the 280th episode of my daily talk show, SRDaily, today. That means we are just 20 episodes away from the 300th episode, which will be another milestone episode. For those who don't know, my show airs Monday through Friday, 9am until 930am EST. It started in 2023 on Tiktok LIVE, but due to them kicking me off last Thanksgiving, I have moved over to Facebook LIVE. The show features me in my home studio, going through 4 different segments. The 1st segment changes daily between a word of the day, a quote of the day, and a phrase of the day. That's the only segment that changes. The 2nd segment is always need to know news of the day, while the 3rd segment always a features some kind of tip, and the 4th segment is called the build of the day which is simply consist of things that I wanna talk about with the viewers.
As I was approaching the 100th episode, I realized that this was indeed a milestone, not only for me personally, but for so many other creators and talk show hosts as well. There are so many people that never get to their 100th episode of a project, and for many reasons too. So, because it was a milestone episode, I figured I would do something that I've always wanted to do, which was host my talk show in front of a LIVE studio audience, while interviewing guests. I did that! It was epic! We got nearly 20 people out at 9am on a Tuesday morning. I interviewed 5 different people, popcorn style. I was so grateful. And that's how the term "milestone episode" was born. Every 100 episodes I host the show in front of a LIVE studio audience while also welcoming guests to be interviewed. The 1st milestone episode was epic, and the 2nd one, which was held at my lady's school and featured youth as guests, was probably even more epic. I'm stoked for the 3rd milestone episode!
Mark your calendars. It's going down on Tuesday, February 11th, from 9am until 10am EST. I forgot to mention, every milestone episode is also 60 minutes as opposed to the usual 30 minutes. Anyway, once I solidify the location, I'll write another article and make an event page for folks to RSVP if they'd like to be part of the LIVE studio audience.
My ultimate goal is to do all of my talk shows in front of a LIVE studio audience while interviewing some amazing people. I have no doubt in my mind that we'll get there. The only way to get there is to simply keep going. And that's what I absolutely plan to do. I don't care if it takes 1,000 episodes. We gonna keep going until we reach our destination, and then, we gonna set higher heights and keep going until we reach those. This work is forever!
